Terms of Service

Last updated: May 13, 2026

Welcome to EnergySavingsMA. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the EnergySavingsMA website at energysavingsma.com ("Site") and services. By using the Site or submitting any information through it, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. About EnergySavingsMA

EnergySavingsMA is an independent home energy consultation service operating in Massachusetts. We help homeowners check whether their home may be eligible for solar energy programs offered by licensed solar energy providers. EnergySavingsMA is not a utility company, does not install solar systems, and is not affiliated with Eversource, National Grid, or any utility company.

2. Eligibility

This Site is intended for use by individuals who:

  • Are at least 18 years of age
  • Are residents of Massachusetts
  • Own a single-family home
  • Are customers of Eversource or National Grid

By using this Site, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

3. No Guarantee of Eligibility or Savings

Submission of the qualification form does not guarantee that you or your home will be approved for any solar energy program. Eligibility is determined by the licensed solar energy provider partner based on multiple factors, including but not limited to:

  • Roof condition and orientation
  • Sun exposure on your property
  • Electrical panel capacity and condition
  • Utility zone and service availability
  • Energy usage history
  • Credit qualification (if applicable)

Any savings figures, projections, or testimonials shown on this Site are illustrative only and not a guarantee of your individual results. Actual savings vary based on your specific home, location, energy use, and the terms of any agreement you may enter with a solar provider.

4. Free Consultation

The qualification check and home energy advisor consultation offered through this Site are free of charge. You are under no obligation to purchase anything or enroll in any program. You may end the consultation at any time.

5. No Affiliation with Utilities or Government Programs

EnergySavingsMA is not endorsed by, sponsored by, or affiliated with:

  • Eversource Energy
  • National Grid
  • The Massachusetts Department of Public Utilities
  • Any state, federal, or municipal government agency

Statements about state-approved solar programs refer to the regulatory framework in Massachusetts that permits Power Purchase Agreements and similar arrangements between homeowners and licensed solar providers.

6. User Conduct

When using this Site, you agree NOT to:

  • Submit false, inaccurate, or fraudulent information
  • Submit information about anyone other than yourself
  • Use the Site for any unlawful purpose

8. Third-Party Services

When you submit your information, it will be shared with a licensed solar energy provider partner who will contact you for consultation. Your interaction with that provider is governed by their own terms and policies. EnergySavingsMA is not responsible for the actions or omissions of third-party providers, though we make reasonable efforts to work only with reputable, licensed partners.
